POSSIBLES will be taking over the indoor and outdoor spaces of the Grande Bibliothèque in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles!
Come join us for the unveiling of the 12th POSSIBLES, Wind Instrument, an interactive installation by artist Étienne Paquette. Indoors, you will be able to see art performances, take part in chat rooms about sustainable community development issues and dance to the beats of music performances throughout the night!
This great party will also be your chance to discover the POSSIBLES Manifesto. As a synthesis of all the collective thoughts gathered throughout this year of achievements, the Manifesto is an invitation to reclaim the city, to care about others and to create a future in accordance with our wishes.
A collaboration of LA SERRE – arts vivants, Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec the National Film Board of Canada and the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, in the framework of POSSIBLES, a project part of the official programming of the celebrations surrounding Montreal’s 375th anniversary.

POSSIBLES merges art and civic engagement in the perspective of sustainable community development. Once a month throughout the year 2017, POSSIBLES will present the works of 12 artists from various art disciplines in collaboration with 12 creative partnerships in 12 unusual Montreal venues.
The objective: Provide a platform to up-and-coming artists by inviting them to create new POSSIBLES exploring 12 local issues that arose from discussions with the community.
The event La Nuit des POSSIBLES will wrap up 2017 with the legacy of a Manifesto and an experiential web platform. As of 2018, this platform will allow the public to discover new POSSIBLES coming from all around the world. An in-depth reflection about the future, an invitation to participate in the creation of a better tomorrow!
